Calendar blocks labelled with a specific activity (in pink) indicate that the gym is hosting a special event and that access to the training area will be limited - call us for more details. Les plages horaires vertes marquées "busy/occupé" indiquent que La Bat Cave est ouverte et disponible pour l'entraînement avec une Bat Carte. A strength challenge from the insect world

In a great article appearing in Saturday's BBC news we get the next strenth challenge from the insect world.

An amazing image of an ant lifting 100 times its body weight has won first prize in a science photography contest.

The image shows an Asian weaver ant hanging upside down on a glass-like surface and holding a 500mg (0.02oz) weight in its jaws.

It was taken by zoology specialist Dr Thomas Endlein of Cambridge University as he researched insects' sticky feet.
